L’antichissimo borgo di Craviano o “Cipriano” si trova su una collina a nord- ovest di Govone e sul culmine del colle, da secoli, in posizione pittoresca, sorge la Cappella della Madonna delle Grazie, che fa subito pensare alla chiesetta di padre Cristoforo dei “Promessi Sposi” a Pescarenico.

B&B Ma Maison
La nostra casa fa parte di una vecchia cascina familiare ristrutturata negli anni 90. Al nostro arrivo nel 2012, abbiamo privilegiato una ristrutturazione interna, con poche modifiche esterne, dando un tocco di modernità. Ma Maison si trova nel cuore di Craviano, a circa 500m dalla collina degli Elfi.

After years of life in Turin, we got married in 2000, and we immediately decided to move in the country. My husband Guido, native of Neive, returned every weekend to reload the batteries and to face to the best the present stress in the great cities, therefore also Turin. Our daughters' birth Gaelle (in 2005) and Anais (in the 2007) has convinced us to make the great jump. We could not keep on traveling anymore give her/it country to Turin. Needed to stay!
As my wife well Louise said, the time had come to stay for occupying us to the best of our daughters. Which solution better than that to work in really? Here that we depart with the jobs of restructuring in the 2010. I am the master builder the do-all worker. I am the arm that must realize the ideas of my wife
We expand the farmhouse to create a new kitchen and a dining room overlooking the garden. The old kitchen becomes the gaelle room today. The top floor so far not used becomes our private apartments with a studio/play area for us and the girls, two bedrooms, each with a private bathroom. The room on the first floor until then master bedroom, becomes Anais room. I don’t recognize it anymore, after my wife decided to put her ciel de lit, made by herself. It’s a room that calls the copies in love.
The renovation and renovation works are entirely done by the two of us. With the help of experts such as the plumber and electrician. For the projects of the new part, we had the valuable experience of the geometry Barallis (of govone). The material to build the new part and to divide the living room, come from Gallo legnami (san damiano d'Asti).
My wife has always had a real passion for furniture. It’s amazing how he can transform environments with fantasy, using objects you can’t imagine! So a bedside table suddenly becomes a comfortable sitting in the living room, a garden candle lantern finds its place in the house and becomes unrecognizable, The natural wood fits nicely next to the thick old walls of our house. And when she doesn’t find what she likes on the market, she calls the "arm". This is how many other furniture made with reclaimed wood are born: the console and the table for food in the gaelle room, the sink cabinet in the anais room, the chest, even the living room, etc...
My wife plays so well with the colors, the fabrics, and every small object that, our house, as a normal farmhouse for two newlyweds and two little girls, today has the appearance of an arem! a tent of one thousand and one night!! The soft colored taps combined with curtains and pillows of various colors and sizes as only she knows how to make it all so warm and welcoming. The sofa in the TV area actually consists of four wooden footboards, on which my wife leaned two mattresses that still unava my grandmother!! We all find it very comfortable and we compete among ourselves to win the place lying down!!
Louise also pays tribute to Piedmont, this land that has welcomed it for 22 years: the antique wardrobe of the piedmont of 900, the old chandelier of the grandmother, the cabinet made in his time by his grandfather, all things that find place in our house.
After two and a half years of work, here we are ready to welcome you. On July 1, 2013, opens Ma Maison, our brand new B&B!!.
Why "Ma Maison"? We are an international type family. My wife speaks some foreign languages, and I as an average Italian only two. Our girls are perfectly bilingual (Italian and French), we wanted to accommodate people making them feel right at home. This is why we decided to call our house "Casa Mia", "my home".
